Brinks to respond to Labour Court decision tonight
Brinks Allied has said it will respond to the Labour Court recommendation tonight.
Earlier today SIPTU accepted the Labour Court recommendation to resolve the dispute at Brinks Allied.
Staff at the company were balloted on the recommendations this morning, and the vote was carried by an majority of 54-9.
Among the court's advice was to defer the introduction of new work practices at the company until further research is carried out.
Brinks operations director Alan Jordan today said: “We’re sending a letter to the Labour Court and we will wait for them to get it first before we make an announcement.”
