SIPTU accepts Labour Court proposals for Brinks
Trade Union SIPTU has accepted the Labour Court recommendation to resolve the dispute at Brinks Allied.
Staff at the company were balloted on the recommendations this morning, and the vote was carried by an majority of 54-9.
Among the court's advice was to defer the introduction of new work practices at the company until further research is carried out.
SIPTU spokesman Kevin Mc Mahon said today that it was now up to management at the company to accept the terms.
