Parents for Justice to bring court test cases
The Parents for Justice group, which represents the parents of children whose organs were retained by hospitals without permission, is to bring three High Court test cases in the New Year.
It emerged over the weekend that two hospitals had supplied a pharmaceutical company with the organs of deceased children for research in the 1980s.
Parents for Justice says 100 legal actions are pending, and writs demanding damages have been made on a number of grounds.
The compensation being sought covers personal injury, loss and distress.
