Brinks workers to be balloted on strike action

Workers at Brinks Allied are to be balloted for strike action following the collapse of talks aimed at resolving a dispute over new security vans and procedures.

SIPTU claimed the company had rejected a compromise proposal put forward by the union and had attempted to introduce a range of issues unrelated to the dispute.
