Two die following road accidents
Two young men have died following traffic accidents today, bringing to 233 the number killed on Irish roads in 2004.
A 31-year-old man who died in Co Galway early this morning has been named as Darragh Halloran from Coolepark.
He died after the car he was driving hit a truck near Lough George on the N17. Elsewhere, 20-year old Richard Newman lost his fight for life today after he was injured in a single car accident in Westmeath last Wednesday.
He died at Mullingar General Hospital this morning.
