The widow of Belfast solicitor Pat Finucane today accused the British government of condoning state killings by refusing to establish a public inquiry into her husband’s murder.

Geraldine Finucane alleged that by successfully delaying a public inquiry into her husband’s death for 15 years, the British authorities were ensuring it would become more and more difficult to establish the truth.
