Gardaí: Discovery of body in Ballyfermot 'suspicious'

Gardaí in Dublin now say that they are treating the discovery of a man's body in Ballyfermot this morning as suspicious.

Gardaí in Dublin now say that they are treating the discovery of a man's body in Ballyfermot this morning as suspicious.

The man, who was in his 30s, was found dead by gardaí from Clondalkin beside the Grand Canal on Killeen road at 8.15am.

His body has been removed to Tallaght hospital, and state pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy is due to carry out a post mortem tonight.
