Rabbitte: ‘NIB report paints shocking picture of dishonesty’

Labour Party leader Pat Rabbitte has said the High Court inspectors’ report into practices at National Irish Bank paints “a truly shocking picture of dishonesty, tax evasion and theft”.

Mr Rabbitte said the findings of the report raised serious questions for the Central Bank, which was responsible for supervising NIB at the time.
