Teen's family 'targeted by his gang members'

A 14-year-old boy, whose family has been targeted in revenge for their efforts to break him free from a gang of criminals, is to be placed in care, a court had heard.

Dublin Children’s Court had earlier heard that the boy’s mother is terrified because he had been trapped by dangerous individuals, who would not let him out of their gang.
