FG blames poor management for closure of SDS

Fine Gael TD Simon Coveney has blamed poor management for An Post’s decision to close its loss-making SDS parcel-delivery service.

Mr Coveney said he accepted the need for cost-cutting at An Post, but said customers and staff would suffer because of the SDS closure, which he described as a mistake.
