IMPACT outlines opposition to decentralisation

The IMPACT trade union has expressed strong opposition to the Government’s decentralisation plan in a submission to the Oireachtas finance committee.

The union said the plan to transfer 10,000 civil and public servants out of Dublin would harm the functioning of departments, offices and organisations that rely heavily on specialist staff.
