Improvement works to cause disruption to Dublin rail services
Iarnród Éireann has announced that improvement works on commuter rail services in north Dublin will begin this weekend.
The €176m programme will lead to the suspension of all weekend DART services between Howth/Malahide and Pearse Station and will also disrupt other commuter services.
Iarnród Éireann said it would eventually lead to a 30% increase in rail capacity in the north of the city.
The company has just finished upgrading commuter services in the south of the city as part of a programme that began last October.
