Aer Lingus unions hold talks in brewing job cuts storm

Aer Lingus bosses are holding showdown talks with union chiefs today over plans to axe 1,300 jobs.

Leaders from the country’s biggest union, SIPTU, and the other main representative at the airline, Impact, are meeting senior company officials to fight the new three-year plan.
