Ireland’s new taxi regulator, Ger Deering, has vowed to work with consumers and drivers in an effort to improve the taxi service in Ireland.

Ireland’s new taxi regulator, Ger Deering, has vowed to work with consumers and drivers in an effort to improve the taxi service in Ireland.

Mr Deering, a former official with Carlow County Council, was formally appointed to the position today by Transport Minister Seamus Brennan. He is due to take up the role in September.
