Cowley seeking to form independent TD alliance

Mayo TD Jerry Cowley is reportedly seeking to form a new alliance of independent TDs with the aim of holding the balance of power after the next general election.

Reports this morning said Dr Cowley would present his plans to some of his fellow independents when the Dáil resumed in September.
