GOAL seeks end to Irish funding for Ugandan govt

Irish aid agency GOAL has called on the Irish Government to stop providing aid to the Ugandan government.

John O’Shea, the head of the agency, said Ireland had given €32m last year to a government that was involved in corruption, beheadings and extensive human rights abuses.
