Rush in compensation claims before PIAB takes effect

The High Court’s claims-processing office has reportedly been closed following a rush to lodge compensation cases before the Personal Injuries Assessment Board came into effect.

Since yesterday morning, all motor and public liability claims must be first submitted to the board for assessment.
