Padraig Flynn to give evidence to Mahon Tribunal today
Former Government minister Padraig Flynn is due to give evidence to the Mahon Tribunal later today.
Mr Flynn is expected to be questioned about a £50,000 cheque he received from property developer Tom Gilmartin and a number of bogus offshore accounts he held with his wife, Dorothy.
Yesterday, Mr Flynn’s daughter, Beverley, who is also a former Fianna Fáil TD, admitted to the tribunal that she handled offshore investments worth £68,000 on behalf of her father, but said she could not remember carrying out any transactions.
