SF expresses concern about Castlereagh security breach
Sinn Féin has expressed growing concern about the whereabouts of a dossier that has gone missing from the top-security Castlereagh police and military base in Belfast.
The British army has confirmed that 28 soldiers have been moved to other duties pending the outcome of an investigation into the security breach.
Ian Pearson, the British government’s security minister in the North, has told Sinn Féin that there was no evidence to suggest the dossier had fallen into the hands of the UDA.
However, Sinn Féin MLA Gerry Kelly asked how the British could be so sure of this when nobody knew where the dossier was.
