Gardaí name victims of Donegal, Clare road accidents

Gardaí in Donegal have named the 30-year-old man who died in a car crash in Carrigans on Monday as Myles Toland, who was from the locality.

Gardaí in Donegal have named the 30-year-old man who died in a car crash in Carrigans on Monday as Myles Toland, who was from the locality.

Mr Toland died when the car he was travelling in collided with a wall.

The driver of the car was also seriously injured and is recovering in hospital in Derry.

Meanwhile, gardaí in Co Clare have named the woman who died in a road accident near Ennis on Sunday as 51-year-old Kathleen O’Shea, from Chapel Drive in Kilrush.

Mrs O’Shea died in a single-vehicle crash on the Kilrush Road in Ennis.
