McCreevy announces cuts in tribunal legal fees

Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy has announced a massive reduction in the fees to be paid to lawyers working at the various tribunals of inquiry.

The Minister said today that he had secured cabinet approval to reduce these fees to less than 40% of their current levels.
