MEP calls for new Commissioner for Fishing

Fianna Fáil MEP Sean O' Neachtain has called for the appointment of an EU Commissioner with sole responsibility for the fishing industry.

The current Commissioner, Franz Fischler, is responsible for the implementation of both agricultural and fishery policies.
