More than 2,000 shopkeepers have reportedly threatened to stop selling Vodafone top-up cards because of the company’s decision to reduce the margins that retailers receive on such products.

Vodafone recently cut the margins on €10 and €15 cards from 6.5% to 5.5% and on €20, €25 and €40 cards from 10% to 5.5%.
