The debate over the State Airports Bill is due to continue in the Seanad later today.

During discussions yesterday, the Fianna Fáil leader in the house, Mary O'Rourke, strongly criticised the Government's plans to break up Aer Rianta.

Ms O'Rourke questioned what "forces or shadowy people" are behind the proposals.

She also asked why the Transport Minister is ploughing ahead with a plan based solely on what she called a "hunch".
