NSC calls on lorry drivers to eliminate 'blind spots'

Truck drivers are being asked to improve their visibility as the National Safety Council highlights the problems posed by blind spots.

The "danger zone" that exists around heavy goods vehicles is being blamed for the deaths of up to six elderly pedestrians last year.
