Man killed in Cork road accident

Gardaí in Co Cork are appealing for witnesses to a car accident that has left one man dead and another injured.

It happened at 6.40pm yesterday on the Rathcormac to Watergrasshill Road. A local man in his 70’s died in the two car collision.

The driver of the second car was taken to Cork University Hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
