Armed raiders hold up Meath security van

Three armed raiders have escaped with an undisclosed sum of money after they held up a security van in Bettystown, Co Meath, this afternoon.

Three armed raiders have escaped with an undisclosed sum of money after they held up a security van in Bettystown, Co Meath, this afternoon.

The robbery happened at around 1pm.

The raiders escaped in a blue car that was found burned out a short time later in the Drogheda area of Co Louth.
