A controversial Orange parade in the North today passed off peacefully on its way to the annual Twelfth of July demonstrations.

A controversial Orange parade in the North today passed off peacefully on its way to the annual Twelfth of July demonstrations.

A strong police presence in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast ensured there was no trouble as three loyalist bands and four Orange lodges made their way past a crowd of around 150 nationalist protesters.
