Four people died in accidents on Ireland’s roads over the weekend, bringing the death toll so far this year to 205.

The latest victim was 19-year-old John Sheridan, from Rathmullen, Co Donegal, who died when the van in which he was travelling collided with a car in Ardee, Co Louth, yesterday morning.

A 32-year-old motorcyclist also died in a collision with a tractor in Cootehill, Co Cavan, on Saturday evening, while on Saturday morning, an 81-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man died after they were knocked down in separate accidents in Co Cork and Co Donegal.
