McCreevy planning to reduce tribunal lawyers' fees

Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy is reportedly planning to reduce fees for tribunal lawyers by up to €1,400 a day in an effort to reduce the cost of such inquiries.

Reports this morning said the minister was seeking to cap the daily rates that can earned by lawyers working on the various tribunals.
