Labour: Ahern must clarify health funding plans

The Labour Party has called on the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, to state whether or not additional funds are being made available to the health service.

The party says reports that the Minister for Health, Micheál Martin, is to push the Government to provide money for additional medical cards, should be treated with scepticism.
