PSNI claims major success against paramilitary fundraising
The PSNI has claimed to have dealt a major blow to paramilitary fundraising after seizing more than £1m worth of counterfeit goods and manufacturing equipment yesterday.
The material was seized during raids in Counties Tyrone, Down, Armagh and Antrim. The operation was the result of several months of police work.
The PSNI said the counterfeiting operations were linked to loyalist and republican paramilitary groups.
The items seized included CDs, DVDs, computers, printers and multi-disc burners.
