Six rescued off Dun Laoghaire coast

The Dun Laoghaire lifeboat rescued six people whose vessel suffered engine failure during rough weather off the east coast last night.

The Dun Laoghaire lifeboat rescued six people whose vessel suffered engine failure during rough weather off the east coast last night.

The rescue happened near Bulloch Harbour between 9.30pm and 10pm.

A crew member from the lifeboat succeeded in restarting the engine of the stricken vessel before escorting it to Dun Laoghaire Harbour.
