A Government sub-committee was established today to examine all issues relating to the proposed management buy-out of Aer Lingus.

The committee, which consists of the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, Tánaiste Mary Harney, Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy, Transport Minister Seamus Brennan and Tourism Minister John O’Donoghue, will hold an initial meeting within the next fortnight.
