Cabinet to discuss proposed Aer Lingus buyout

The proposed management buyout of Aer Lingus is expected to top the agenda at a meeting of the Cabinet later today.

The airline’s chief executive, Willie Walsh, has sought permission from Transport Minister Seamus Brennan to prepare proposals for a buyout.
