Four people have been killed in accidents on Ireland's roads over the weekend.

The latest accident occurred on the Enniscorthy to Bunclody road in county Wexford at 5.45pm yesterday when a 44-year-old female passenger was killed in a two vehicle accident.

Earlier yesterday afternoon, a 65 year-old woman died in a collision involving two vehicles in Killeshin in Co Laois. Five other people were taken to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny.

Meanwhile, two people died in a collision with a jeep at Ardchicken in Donegal Town at 10.30pm Saturday night.
