PSNI scale down Drumcree security

The Police Service of Northern Ireland say that security measures for tomorrow's Drumcree Parade will be scaled down as it is expected that the parade will pass off peacefully.

The PSNI says the decrease in anti-riot measures follows intensive engagement with local groups, as part of an ongoing scale down of security over the past three years.

Orangemen have again been refused permission to walk down the nationalist Garvaghy Road in Portadown.
