Irish workers bottom of paid leave table
Irish workers reportedly get less paid holidays than workers in any other western European nation.
Reports this morning said a survey conducted by the IW Economics Institute in Germany found that Irish workers got just 20 days paid leave every year, compared to 33 in Sweden.
The reports said the figures did not take account of public holidays, but recent surveys have reportedly shown that Irish people also get less paid public holidays than their western European counterparts.
