A Limerick-based company is planning to create 65 jobs in the city after it won a contract to manage government-funded broadband networks in more than 25 towns throughout the country.

A Limerick-based company is planning to create 65 jobs in the city after it won a contract to manage government-funded broadband networks in more than 25 towns throughout the country.

Communications Minister Dermot Ahern is due to award the contract to E Net later today.

His department said the move would create 65 jobs directly in Limerick and another 60 indirect jobs further down the line.
