A Corkman who raped an Australian tourist and described by Mr Justice Barry White as "a danger and a menace to society and women", has been jailed for 18 years.

Johnny English, aged 26, pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court last March during his trial to raping a 26-year-old Australian tourist on November 26, 2002 at the Geography Department of University College Cork.
