A leading Traveller representative group today called for a new State agency to deal with accommodation issues for the Travelling community.

Speaking at a press conference in Dublin this morning, Ronnie Fay of Pavee Point Travellers’ Centre said that a lack of proper accommodation for Travellers was at the root of social problems surrounding Traveller encampments.
