Teenager killed in Carlow car crash
A 17-year-old boy was killed in a road accident in Co Carlow last night.
The boy died when the car in which he was travelling collided with another car at about 7.40pm near Rathellen, Leighlinbridge.
The victim has not yet been named.
Four other people were taken to St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny, where they treated for their injuries.
Three other people were killed in separate accidents around the country yesterday.
An 18-year-old girl was killed near Killarney in Co Kerry, a 75-year-old man died in Donegal and a 73-year-old man was killed in a crash in Co Wexford.
