Govt attacked over speed of Aer Rianta break-up
The Government has come under attack in the Dáil over the speed with which legislation to break up Aer Rianta was introduced in the House.
Labour Party leader Pat Rabbitte said it made no sense to break up the company before business plans had been drawn up for Dublin, Cork and Shannon Airports.
Green Party leader Trevor Sargeant said it was a mystery why the break-up was being given such priority and he suggested it was being driven by ideological objectives.
