The Vintners Federation of Ireland has claimed that many of its members have experienced a significant drop in sales since the introduction of the workplace smoking ban in March.

The Vintners Federation of Ireland has claimed that many of its members have experienced a significant drop in sales since the introduction of the workplace smoking ban in March.

The VFI said small, rural, family-owned pubs and pubs in border counties had been hit particularly hard by the measure.
