Mass will mark Loughinisland murders' anniversary

A special mass is due to take place in Loughinisland, Co Down, to mark the tenth anniversary of the murder of six men in the village by loyalist paramilitaries 10 years ago today.

The six were shot dead in the Heights Bar while watching Ireland play Italy during the 1994 World Cup in the United States.

One of the victims, 87-year-old Barney Green, was the oldest person to be murdered during the Troubles.

Nobody has ever been brought to justice for the killings.
