Govt planning to hire 350 extra special needs teachers

Education Minister Noel Dempsey has approved plans to establish an extra 350 posts for special needs teachers.

Mr Dempsey also said today that he had approved a new “weighted” system for allocating special needs teachers and resources to Irish schools.
