An Post considering SDS future, says reports

Reports today said An Post is considering closing its loss-making SDS courier service, which employs 270 people.

SDS was expected to lose up to €8m this year, double what had originally been projected.

This morning’s reports said it was likely that An Post would decide to close SDS and integrate part of its existing parcels business into the company’s main mail operations.
