IDA declares end to three-year economic slowdown

The Industrial Development Authority has declared that the economic slowdown of the past three years is over.

The authority made the declaration in its annual report for 2003, which showed that 9,000 jobs were created in IDA-supported companies during the year, a drop of almost 2,000 on the figures for the previous year.
