North facing new health scare

Hundreds of people in the North have been informed that contaminated medical instruments may have been used to investigate problems in their stomachs.

An audit carried out following a health scare at a hospital in Lisburn, Co Antrim earlier this month discovered that 17 gastroscopes used in the North may not have been decontaminated properly.
