Greens launch campaign against Bush visit
The Green Party has launched its campaign against US President George W Bush’s visit to Ireland later this month.
Speaking at the launch of the Give Bush the Push campaign, Green MEP Patricia McKenna said Mr Bush should not have been allowed to use Ireland as part of his efforts to win Irish-American votes in the US presidential election this November.
Ms McKenna also said she was concerned about the agenda for the EU-US summit Mr Bush is attending, including plans to increase co-operation on Iraq.
